VISION
Meet Margo is out to reframe the whole experience and process of finding your perfect mortgage match.
Drawing on tech, PR and lifestyle experience and a clear, definitive audience, the owners of this start-up wanted a unique and fresh tone of voice and message to pitch for next round funding.
SOLUTIONS
We worked with the co-founders and pitch-perfect queen Dorothy Fulop to carve out a new, dynamic pitch storyline, tone of voice and messaging to set them up for success.
LINKEDIN POST BY FOUNDER, CLAIRE TOWE, 2024
“I really love your brand”.
“You feel relatable.” “You don’t behave like a typical mortgage brokerage.” “I really feel like I can trust you”.
Just some of the things we’ve been told about Meet Margo.
Beyond mere aesthetic, we invested in our brand proposition very early in our journey despite being told not to “waste our money on it”.
Their view “just rebrand when you have more funds”. I disagree.
How can you choose not to invest in something that touches every part of product/service offering and helps you and your team align with who you are as a business?
And no, I don’t just mean a shiny new logo and colour scheme. I’m talking about the soul of your business, your identity, how you resonate with customers, right the way through to the service you provide.
As a new business, we didn’t have a big client book to fall back on. We didn’t have word of mouth. Hell, we weren’t even established.
Yet, here we are. Two years deep sat on the leader board ahead of companies who’ve been in the industry much, much longer than us.
For us building a brand wasn’t a luxury, it was a necessity.

“It’s given us the confidence to shout loudly and proudly about who we are and what we do.
Our work is in financial services (a pretty stodgy industry), and Lauren and her team nailed the brief of injecting some life and personality into our brand.
It’s like having the brains of a big agency in your team, challenging
you on the bits that need challenging and working to make your project the best that it can be. Not to mention, it was really enjoyable working with Lauren and her team.”
