Resourcing A Global Movement was a monumental day in the fight against gender-based violence: it saw the powerhouses of Justice for Migrant Women, FreeFrom, me too. International, Collective Future Fund, We Are Purposeful, and Grantmakers for Girls of Color come together with over 200 participants from across the globe—from activists and allies to philanthropy and media.
The day was filled with panel discussions, reflections and round table, working sessions across 12 topics covering international aid for survivors, prevention strategies, collaboration, technology and AI, narrative shifts and organisational tools.
The seeds of a global collaborative movement with a diversity of thoughts, actions and solutions were planted that day.
An event with such a global stage and big topic demanded an identity and presence to match. We worked closely with all the organisations to create a bold, dynamic and striking brand that set the stage for the day.
THE IDENTITY:
Collaboration In Action
It was vital the essence of this first collaboration by these global organisations was marked, remarkable and powerful. We took the concept of a centered vision and the multiplied results that fan from that as the foundation of the identity.
The dynamic lines, overlapping forms and typography were a reference to the collaborative relationships; the palette offbeat and powerful balanced with a softness; the typography clean, bold and clear – these all combined to give a simple yet effective identity that captured the spirit of the event’s intention.
